MORE INFO

To get across the bridge from Vallejo prior to the ceremony, cyclist can board a bike shuttle at the dirt lot on Maritime Academy Drive (at the intersection of the the bicycle and pedestrian trail). The shuttle will take cyclists to the Dead Fish Restaurant in Crockett. It will run from 8:00am-10:00am.

Bicyclists are requested not to stop when riding across the bridge, and to walk their bicycles if conditions warrant.

Bicyclists crossing the span to Vallejo will have the option to continue to the Vallejo Ferry for travel to the SF Ferry Terminal ($9.50). Boats leave at 12:30pm, 2:00pm, 3:15pm, 4:00pm and later. From the path connection to Maritime Academy Drive, continue to Sonoma Blvd and turn left (caution, we await a much-needed signal).

Another option is to visit the California Maritime Academy where the documentary, "Spanning the Carquinez Strait" will be showing in the Rizza Auditorium at 11:30am, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm. From the path, turn left on Maritime Academy Dr to the shoreline and follow the EBBC bicycle parking signs to the auditorium.

The EBBC will offer guarded bicycle parking in Crockett from 10:00am to 3:00pm at the Dead Fish Restaurant parking lot adjacent to the Zampa Bridge Path and at the Maritime Academy in Vallejo.

We hope all riders and clubs can join us in the friendly City of Crockett to celebrate this tremendous accomplishment.
