What’s an Energizer Station? Glad you asked. Staffed by high-energy volunteers, Energizer Stations greet cyclists with morning snacks, refreshments and musette bags full of donated goodies. Station volunteers can also provide you with all the information you need to thoroughly enjoy the Bay Area’s biggest bike event of the year.
Energizer Stations come in different shapes and sizes and offer many different kinds of refreshments, depending on what great local businesses have contributed. This year, many stations will have individual themes. Stations also help your East Bay Bicycle Coalition to count the growing number of cyclists who choose to participate in Bike to Work Day activities.
So keep your eyes peeled for our Energizer Stations, stop by for snacks, a goody bag, and a little fun with our volunteers. And count yourself as a member of the growing East Bay movement for bicycle commuting.
